A better idea to sell the materials themselves to other crafters and make a higher profit
If the number you calculate is higher then what you want to sell your item for, it is a better idea to sell the Eve isk materials themselves to other crafters and make a higher profit that way.
The final way to make money with your trade skill is if you happen to have hard to find patterns – as long as others are willing to collect the materials, you can ask for a tip and create the item for them, saving you the time and effort of collecting materials.
