He offered the underage boys WoW gold in exchange for the nude pictures
The latest WoW news says, A 28-year-old man, also a World of Warcraft player, has been charged with luring 25 underage boys into sending naked pictures of themselves to him over the internet.
The man has a significant amount of WoW gold in World of Warcraft, which can be used to upgrade a player's strength or abilities. He offered the underage boys WoW gold in exchange for the nude pictures, which also involved live webcam videos of masturbation.
According to the reports from the Copenhagen City Court, the 28 year old man has been charged with getting twenty-five 12-16 year old boys to send him naked pictures (and in some case video wankage) of themselves, in exchange for World of Warcraft gold. Prosecutors say the man had around 10,000 illegal pictures and 1200 videos of naked underage boys on his computer at the time of the arrest.
He spoke to the boys on the World of Warcraft and also via MSN Messenger, where more private exchanges could take place. The man said that he received the photos and videos via email but he didn't admit enticed underage boys into anything.
