I understand that certain compromises need to be made for the sake of reasonable game play. There really aren't wolves on the outskirts of Michel Delving, or goblins roaming 200 meters from Bag End. Crops don't really grow in less than 10 seconds. And LOTRO Gold players don't usually get a sprig of woolly mint when you farm green peas. All of this stuff (and lots more) I can live with. But why change something that makes logical sense and was working fine?As I recall, the sole reason given for turning seeds into Magic Beans (not to mention the creation of the debacle formerly known as cross-breeding pipeweed) was that farmers were running out of space in their packs. Really? Any semblance of realism in farming was destroyed in order to temporarily conserve a few pack slots?
