Making the Game Thrive in Age of Conan
As we prepare for new server merges, we urge Funcom to consider again why in 1.05 you saw people quit as much as they did. However, urge FC and it is developers to take a look at the game (aoc gold) at launch and make melee meaningful and fun again. Of course casters need to be revised but melee, in which you sold the game and is still selling the game on, are plagued with boring single step combos along with other more well known issues.
Please do not dumb the game (conan gold) down even further. Step away from a WoW clone, return or shift towards to a Conan's lore based game. If things continue the way it is, even with 1.06, subs will continue to drop until we are left with one server.
Many of us desperately want the game to succeed and thrive. However if game breaking issues, and boring melee and yawnfest casters are still going to stay the way it is, then unfortunately AoC do not have a chance of succeeding as a major/large mmo like it was intended. Furthermore, FC will find it difficult to shake off this failure in future endeavors.
