Mounts not Until Level 40 in Age of Conan
We generally have run through Tortage to 20 and out as quickly as possible. Go to one of the resource zones, the resource quests to get us to 25. Some players spend most of there time in WSI and UH for PVP. In our opinion to pay for such limited content is a waste. The game does not really start until you get out of Tortage. We think having to wait for your first horse until level (aoc gold) 40 though, makes it feel so much more rewarding when you get it.
If you could get a mount after only a few hours of game time than it would remove the appreciation, you have when you finally get one. The sounds of clashing swords and crushing blows will awaken what lies deep within. A warriors heart that will only be satisfied by the smell of blood and the surge of victory. When we fall our Battle cry will echo through the darkness. It is a good day to die.
