Seal Online : Do Not Click on This Email!
We just received some phishing emails that are "spoofing" YNK email accounts, and want to be sure you were aware and NOT to click on any links inside them if you receive them as well.
We've seen 2 different titles of the emails in the subject line:
1) "A new settings file for the (your email address here) mailbox has just been released"
2) "For the owner of the (your email address here) mailbox"
They appear to come from "[email protected]", but they in fact are not coming from us.
The contents of the email are as follows:
"Dear user of the ynkinteractive.com mailing service!
We are informing you that because of the security upgrade of the mailing service your mailbox (your email address here) settings were changed. In order to apply the new set of settings click on the following link:
(link removed for your protection)
Best regards, ynkinteractivecom Technical Support."
The link goes to a site that is ynkinteractive.com WITHOUT the "www". On that site are malicious files which may damage your computer and/or data.
Obviously, the content of the email and subject line can be changed once the lawbreakers find out we're onto them, so please be aware that at no time will YNK Interactive contact you via email to click on a link to change any settings (we don't even have a "mailbox" in the game which should be your first clue).
