The Point of Guardian Class in Rohan
We agree with your point on protection, we cut that out of our guardians build. You should definitely have invoke to level 5 since crits do wonders with crazy standing OS. Also you might want to have physical blow for your strength guardian tree, works good with a bear on top. We maxed Invoke around 70 and we actually maxed Physical Blow right away instead of being able to max Stone Skin right away. To us, the 20% HP Rohan Gold is far too valuable to ignore.
However, if you are more of an offensive Guardian then you do not really need it. Those 5 points could help us greatly, but meh. We were just posting the very basic skill builds since people always ask for them. We figured it was easier than going into the advantages/disadvantages of our personal skill build.
