The next Arms weapon-specific talent is for poleaxes. Again, get this
knight gold if you’re going to be using either polearms or axes as your primary weapon. A 5% increase on critical strike chance doesn’t sound like much, but when you add it up with the other possible chances available on this tree, it can make a difference.
The mace talent is unique in that it gives a chance to stun, which can be huge in battle. It’s not a big chance, but when it hits it stuns for 3 seconds, which if you happen to hit after say, a Charge, can give you a big swing in your favor early on in the battle.
Really, any stun you can get on a target is a good thing, and for that reason many warriors choose mace at least as a secondary weapon.
This talent is either the best on this tree or the worst, depending entirely on your build. This is the ultimate Berserker play - you’ll get hit pretty badly when using it, but you’ll hit even harder and won’t be scared away.
Again, the 20% will stack with whatever else you have going for you in damage increases, so keep that in mind when plotting your talent build. Obviously, if you’re going for a tank build, this isn’t the talent for you, but then again neither is most of this tree. You’ll also need this if you plan to take Bloodthirst.
If you use Sword, you should take this talent. Extra strike chance is a good bonus, especially if you play a human warrior.
