Another problem is that most casters get full T2 much quicker then they get pvp gear. So while they may be pvp noobs, they have the highest armor rating in the game for their class without any pvp experience (aoc gold). Nerf the armor to raid gear and up the armor in pvp gear. Also spread the stats out in pvp gear a little more evenly instead of making the pvp 4, pants and chest have 2X better stats the pvp 3 pieces are gloves and bracers. Raid gear should yield the highest overall damage but pvp gear should give the highest survivability to ALL damage.
The main problem with this is most melee are not in pvp 4 or 5 gear yet. The magic mitigation is not really seen until these levels (conan gold). So a PVP 0 Demo has his full T2 and has the highest mitiation against you he is goign to while your pvp 3 and you have very little mitigation against him. We do not like to use the general term OP, but we believe there are areas that need a nerf: Health pool. Amount of insta CC available. More micro-management.
